Writing Leslee Allen presentation

 Why does Leslee Allen's mahi always resonate with me so much? The fact that she is a New Entrant/junior teacher, but she is also a teaching principal. An anomoly really.

So working with young children, she understands the foundations. And being a principal, she knows the expectations. So there is an aspect of feeling safe with the intent of her blogs and it is tried and tested. This will form the basis for my inquiry as I unpack the presentation - because I have done writing as an inquiry a number of times at my level but I still have a lot to learn.

For my writing inquiry, I am going to unpack a lot of this presentation, and talk about the difficulties of teaching 5 year olds how to write.

From the presentation here, you can see there is a lot for me to think about. However, none of this is new to me either. It is the daily, monthly and yearly battle - but I feel it is not understood.
